How many employeesand locations?

Greytrix is headquarteredin Mumbai is the hub of all development and support activities for clients allover India. With staff strength of 100+, the entire back office work for anyimplementation is carried out in the Mumbai centre which has an experiencedstaff members working on Sage product lines since 1998. Greytrix Mumbai alsodevelops India specific products like TDS, Excise module, integrations withother India specific software to be sold by other resellers and partners ofSage. We have a branch office in Gurgaon, Delhi with a team of consultants andimplementers to cater to the upcoming SME industries in NCR region.

Overall we have acquired 25+ clients since 2007 in various industriessegments. Greytrix with its strong implementation, consulting and developmentteam can take care of unique needs of the clients. GCPL’s past is our strengthand with Greytrix’s 300+ customers worldwide in 50+ industries only portendswell for all our customers future.

Where did you getthe funding? How does the company run?

Greytrix is self funded,Self Sufficient and professionally run organization, since inception around 14years back Greytrix has always remained a Debt Free and Cash Positiveorganization; all the expansion and investments done by Greytrix in expandingBusiness to different geographies, product lines has been done purely throughinternal accruals

What were the key problems while setting up? What are the learning’s? Please elaborate this ingreat detail.

Greytrix growth as anorganization can be charted out in two phases. The first phase began as a 100%EOU dealing in catering to SME ERP and CRM partners worldwide in supportingthem for customization, programming needs. The biggest issue encountered wasthe reluctance in the SME marketspace for outsourcing of the project and theonly way to move forward has been through our “Nine candle stick theory” whichis build up the business based on references. The other issue involved wasIndian industry was mostly revolving around Y2K and Web development outsourcingand a small organization like ours to get into business application developmentfor SME clients was a challenge in terms of talent acquisition and retention.We have overcome this by exhaustive training of minimum of 6 months to 1 yearfor any developer joining our organization.

The second phase of ourgrowth involves our Indian operations which we started off in 2007 and thebiggest challenge has been to convince small and medium enterprises here toadapt to global standards. Most of the Indian organization catering to Indianmarket for SME is low on experience based organization whose only aim is tograb a deal and make sales and it becomes difficult for a professionalorganization like Greytrix to propose and sell a “solution” and not a “box”. Toovercome this, we have always done exhaustive proof of concepts and detailedsolution analysis by our team of techno  functional consultants. Ourorganization does not have a “pure” sales person and every one front ending iscapable of discussing the problems and solutions with the clients. The secondbig challenge is to bring the staff to accept global standard ERP after theyhave been spoilt by easy to use and manipulate entry level accounting systemand/or adhoc excel based reporting system in case of CRM. To overcome this, weinvolve management and the actual users in all the training and implementationprocess and we train the trainers in the organization than taking up all theresponsibility on our shoulders. We want our clients to become self sufficientand once they become that the “obvious” advantages of using an ERP or CRMsystem comes to the fore.

Greytrix is actively involved in developing and enhancing GUMU lineof products to integrate various Sage Products and assist users of Sage and NonSage products to Migrate to Other Sage Products

Greytrix has been selectedas FIRST Gold Development Partner for Sage Accpac, apart from this Greytrix haswon numerous awards from Sage for innovations including Sage DevelopmentPartner of the year in 2006 and Sage CRM Development Partner of the year inyears 2004 and 2011 for various innovations. Our 20% of the budget is spent onproduct development and innovative R n D technologies.

Main revenue model for your business?

Greytrix is associated withSage Solution for their various product lines since more than a decade now. Weare the premium partners who generate most of the revenue through sales,development of Sage products and implementation of Sage products mainly SageACCPAC ERP, Sage CRM and ACT! by Sage.

Greytrix is premiumpartner with Sage in Western India. Our goal motivates us to achieve immenseproduct expertise to become the No. 1 reseller of Sage Solution in India, maybe even worldwide. The first milestone was to establish GreytrixDelhi Office.  Greytrix recently achieve the Gold Development partner forSage CRM at Sage Summit which encourages us to perform all the more and achievemany more accolades.
